About Rails 2 Riches
Rails 2 Riches is hosted by Killington Resort in Vermont each December and includes a $25,000 cash purse to be split among ski and snowboard competitors. The venue includes an impressive custom built rail venue and draws a stacked lineup each year as this is one of the few rail jam competitions with a big enough payout to draw the industry’s best skiers. Having fun and impressing the judges is the number one goal for competitors as they look to walk away with a fat stack of cash and bragging rights for the season.  This event is great for spectators too as top ski and snowboard athletes battle it out under the lights in early December.  For spectators, this is one of the only chances each season to watch the best competitors in the sport, at the same spot, battling it out, on a course that is easy to view and fan friendly. As a result, this event makes for a great weekend for both competitors and spectators alike.
Patrick McDaniel was onsite for the event and put together a skiing highlight video of the action featuring all of the top skiers.  Check out the video recap so that you can see what went down at the event.
